ABOUT THE PROJECT

Conducted multiple tests to understand the User Experience of the users of the electric scooter by Bird on the University of Maryland campus. Following were the key aspects of the project:

  1. Collecting data using different survey methods both online and in-person.
  2. Conducting further in-person interviews with eligible candidates to further understand and document the experience.
  3. Conducting usability tests with candidates of different ages and skill levels to understand the challenges faced by users while riding the e-scooter.

MAIN TAKEAWAYS

This project helped me understand the importance of keeping users in mind when designing anything in life. It was surprising to find that users had such diverse opinions on something as simple as riding an e-scooter. Implementing the skills learned in this project, I believe has helped me better deliver on other projects that I have worked on.
